For de Bijenkorf, a successful Dutch retail organization, Finance Appointments was asked to provide an Interim Payroll Manager for an assignment of on average two days per week.

The Interim Payroll Manager was to be hired to lead a small, well-functioning team within a dynamic environment, with the focus on controlling and advisory responsibilities while HR handled the payroll mutations. In addition, the role included support on projects aimed at optimizing and supporting payroll and financial administration.

Result: An experienced senior professional with a strong background in payroll administration, complemented by knowledge of financial accounting, was appointed. The Interim Payroll Manager ensured smooth operations, contributed to optimization projects, and provided valuable advice, enabling the team to continue performing at a high level.
