The role
As a Business Controller, you play a key role in achieving the operational and financial objectives. You deliver sharp analyses, reliable reporting and act as a full-fledged sparring partner for management and operations.
You support an EBITDA-driven organization with clear steering information, profitability analyses and concrete improvement initiatives. Your insights have a direct impact on results and decision-making.
You report to the Finance Manager and work closely with the group CFO and local management.
Responsibilities
- Preparing weekly performance reports for the Finnish parent company
- Analyzing revenue, margins and overall profitability
- Monitoring cost developments and managing cost center reporting
- Leading budget and forecast processes
- Supporting pricing, customer profitability and scenario analyses
- Optimizing management reporting, dashboards and financial models
- Initiating automation and process improvements within reporting
- Preparing business cases and CapEx analyses
- Preparing management presentations
- Acting as a business partner to operations and commercial teams
Your profile
You are analytically strong, data-driven and feel at home in a production environment where processes, systems and efficiency are crucial.
With a legacy ERP system and an upcoming implementation, you are someone who embraces change and actively contributes to innovation and optimization.
In addition:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Economics or similar
- 3–7 years of experience in Business Control, preferably within manufacturing
- Experience with ERP systems and reporting tools
- Strong in Excel and financial modeling
- Strong communication skills and persuasive towards management
- Fluent in English and professionally proficient in Dutch is a plus
- You work in a structured way, are deadline-driven and combine independence with a team-oriented mindset
