Reports to VP, Global Controller
This role owns the end-to-end Order-to-Cash (O2C) cycle, ensuring accurate revenue recognition, scalable billing processes, and strong financial controls.
The ideal candidate combines strong technical accounting expertise with a data-driven and process-oriented mindset. You are comfortable operating in a dynamic, sometimes ambiguous environment and bring structure, clarity, and rigor to evolving processes and systems.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Accounting & Close
- Own revenue recognition in line with applicable accounting standards, including contract review and technical assessments
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly close of revenue, deferred revenue, and related accounts
- Maintain and further develop revenue accounting policies, ensuring consistency and compliance
Billing Operations
- Own and optimize the end-to-end Order-to-Cash process (order management, billing, invoicing, collections)
- Manage and improve billing operations within a leading ERP billing module, focusing on accuracy, scalability, and automation
- Partner closely with Sales and Revenue Operations to ensure accurate contract setup, pricing, and invoicing
- Identify and resolve billing discrepancies and process inefficiencies
- Bring structure and clarity to a fast-evolving commercial environment
Systems, Controls & Compliance
- Act as subject matter expert for billing and revenue systems, driving enhancements and best practices
- Ensure strong internal controls across revenue recognition and billing processes
- Support external audits, including preparation of revenue-related documentation
- Maintain audit-ready documentation for contracts, policies, and processes
- Safeguard end-to-end financial integrity across the Order-to-Cash cycle
Your Profile
- 5–10 years of accounting experience, with a strong focus on revenue accounting within a SaaS environment
- Solid understanding of subscription-based business models
- Hands-on ERP experience (billing modules is a strong plus)
- Data-driven and process-oriented, with a track record in improving workflows and systems
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment and able to bring structure to ambiguity
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
