Position Summary
The Assurance Team operates from Amsterdam and plays a critical role in audit and assurance-related processes and reporting for our client’s funds and investors. Its primary responsibilities include overseeing and safeguarding both audited and unaudited quarterly financial reporting, ensuring the accuracy of financial statements and capital accounts provided to investors. The team also provides accounting treatment guidance and support to the Investment Accounting Department, reinforcing the integrity of financial practices within the firm.
Another key responsibility is managing the organization’s ISAE 3402 Type II Report, ISAE 3000 Report, and Sarbanes-Oxley (SoX) controls. By maintaining a strong control environment, the team ensures accurate and timely execution of processes that align with industry best practices.
Reporting directly to the CFO, the Assurance Team upholds a robust financial assurance framework that reinforces transparency, compliance, and accountability across the firm. As the client and product base continues to expand, the team is growing to meet the increasing demands of fund reporting under IFRS, US GAAP, Dutch GAAP and Lux GAAP, as well as associated audits and the evolving control environment.
In this role, you will work closely with all teams across the organization, gaining broad exposure to the entire private equity lifecycle—from fundraising and investor onboarding to the investment process, portfolio analysis, and reporting. You will build strong relationships with external auditors, oversee fund audits and the firm’s control environment, and help enhance the scalability of systems and tools to accommodate continued growth in investors and product offerings. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the firm’s expansion while developing deep expertise in private equity operations and financial assurance.
